Man, you gotta be sneaky to own a tractor. Kinda like buying guns and stuff. Thanks for the info.

Never discuss Amsoil, it is a religious topic /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif Nor Hydro vs gear trannys.

( "golden rules" so i dont mess my tractor up right now it is stuck in a swamp really bad so i guess i broke some rules already )

First, as you may have already determined.. terms like 'all wheel drive', four wheel drive, four wheel assist, and 'diffy lock / positive traction, for the most part mean that you can get stuck really bad, farther away from your house, than with a 2wd tractor! /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

There's a huge part of me that agrees.....

Four wheel drive will only get you stuck twice as fast.... /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

I printed out the "Good Wife's Guide" and gave it to LadyRider last night. She laughed for so long I thought she'd never go to sleep.

I discovered another Golden Rule yesterday....one I already knew but tend to forget at the worst possible moments.

Nothing is ever buried as deep as you think it is.

Tagged a sewer line with my backhoe yesterday morning. I spent the next 3 hours digging it out and patching it instead of doing the work I had planned.

One of my local gun dealers has a sign behind the counter that reads "For a fee of $25 we will call your house and tell your wife that you won it in a raffle"

Now that is $25 well spent.

One thing I hear over and over again is "Does it ever end with you men, Guns, Tools, and Tractor stuff do you ever have enough?"

I smile so slightly and say Are they still making new ones and do I have one of each yet?
Then Nope I guess it never ends.

First Thing is that the thread about making sure that the ROPS are down before driving into a garage is true. They don't fit if you don't.
Now, This is a trick that no one has mentioned that I used many years ago, and I'm thinking of dusting it off for another round. I wanted a new racing motorcycle. I picked out the one I wanted and went home and told her I had bought it. Well, after she finished yelling and crying, she told me that we would be alright. So, On my way to work that afternoon, I stopped and bought it. I think it might work with the new tractor too.
