Telehandlers are too big and don't have SSQA, you need a compact telehandler. :thumbsup:

Not at that stage of the fire. Later when all the smaller stuff has burnt away from the stumps and logs. That's when I use the grapple to gently place burnable material near each other to continue the intense burn from condensed piles.

Right, but with a tractor on my big burn piles, I think the front tires would be in the hot coals and hot ashes.

Started the fire Wednesday, this was Thursday:

This is from this morning, Friday. Haven't touched it, it just burned down flat:

Still have visible flames under the dirt and sand rock root ball:

Decided to flip it over with the forks. With the boom extended, there is just over 14 feet from the tips of the forks to where the tires touch the ground:

It should be through smoldering by the time the winds come up Saturday evening. :thumbsup:

This is the time I grapple and stack the sides without dirt onto the other stumps to keep the hot coals burning them up.

I once had a stump pile that took 3 days to get going and near a week to burn out.
It had a berm of dirt around it shaped like a U and once it got going you could burn wet stuff.

This pile with the big trees had been rained on the Monday before I lit it on Wednesday, that is why it was a slow burner.

We rarely go more than 3 days with the wind down below ten miles an hour.

I don't burn if the wind is higher than that.
