The mower that I used to use in the lawn business was a Yazoo. This three-wheeled mower was a blast to drive. This ZTR with the seat on the back would give you a thrill ride around every turn!

Good pics of the old Yazoo Gator. I looked at a regular ZTR styled Yazoo when I was shopping. If the dealer had not been such a far drive away I would have given it more consideration. That old one looks like it would be fun to drive. Like you said, a thrill at every turn.

The guy who does our lawncare at work used to have a three wheeled Bunton. The only problem was that single wheel would leave a bare patch in a few areas where he had to turn around in the same spot each time he mowed. He has a diesel powered Kubota now that doesn't do this..........

Sky, Yeah, ZD is a sweet unit for sure. Too pricey for this cat, especially on the heels of the other purchase /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

The eXmark is a fine machine though. I love the fabricated deck. She's a beauty and without a doubt, extremely productive. Unless you own one, it's hard to describe.

Nope...I didn't have any luck either. I was allowed to drive around the dealer's lot, but now mowing.

I'd go with a ZX480 /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif .....You'll have more mower sticking out the side so you can mow clean to edges. Nice machine. A bit more $$ though.

Very true....

I found that I can mow hills safely (I think) by backing up them in reverse so the weight of the machine is on the rear wheels almost completely and there is limited threat of rollover. You can then safely continue until you finish or lose traction. -I wear my seatbelt and the eXmark has a ROPS.

I had a Simplicity SunRunner a few years ago with rear steering.... It ripped trenches in the lawn around trees. ZRT is much more gentle, although you can do some damage if you are not careful with your turns.

The lawn has grown enough to warrant firing up the CT. Tonight I shall mow! /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
