I hear you on the over priced subs. Just as bad as over priced lumber materials. Rant over.

Enjoying your build. We took notes of what happened on each build day because the wife wants to make a book of the progress, problems, etc. We took a lot of pictures, but not enough of some detail shots. Jon

19970707 Monday

No work on house
Got a locking lug nut removed from a truck tire.

Took a firearms training course
Scored 249 and 260 with a browning.

After work ( more firearms training)
Basement plumbing.

After work
Picked up custom made oak stairs. Hauled home in 8 ft bed, sticking way out.
Picked up oak front door from HD.
I don’t remember getting both the same day, but that’s what my diary says.

And the house was insulated today.

Here I thought that I was the only one that added/subtracted fractions as decimal points.... so much easier.
