Yay!

Felt good to get the bank off my back. Now 30 yrs to pay for it. Lol
We actually paid it off in about 17 yrs, just in time to pay for 2 college bills. Still got 1 more year of college to pay. I think I’ve paid more for college in the last 6 yrs than what my mortgage was.

Thanks, good luck on your build. I really enjoy building things, but not the bank breathing down my back to get finished.

Still got the Polaris 900? I have one, it really came in handy last fall when I couldn’t walk. I called it my motorized wheelchair.

Yes, I definitely still have the Polaris 900, it’s been a huge help moving tools and material around. I’ve had it for 6 years and it has less than 1200 miles on it, but I wouldn’t want to be without it.

I hired the heavy part of my first house built. Did the interior finish and finished the basement. After we'd been moved in for about a year my wife's Grandpa and I were talking and I said I think I'm done. He laughed and said "I've been living in my house 30 years and still aren't done". 30 years later I knew what he meant. After living in it 40 years we sold it to pay for our new house build. A young family bought it which made us very happy. Sits on 20 acres and a great place to raise a family. I pointed out all the things that still needed done. :)

I saw the wife last week. She thanked us for selling it to them. That made me feel very good.

Looking forward to the "Rest of the Story". :)

that will get boring quick, just a once a month mortgage payment to report.

I did start to go thru my garage pictures last night. That build went slow. Once it got usable( not finished) I started the pole barn, then the geothermal ( still not complete but running for a few years now), and then finishing some rooms above the garage ( still not done). Also some basement walls not finished yet.

My wife won’t let me start new projects.
