Then it was a simple matter of putting it all together so the scientists and their buds could see and touch a sample of what I had in mind.

The hiccup in the get up of course is I'm not interested in fabricating and installing thousands of feet of fence. I don't have the resources to contract with government entities. I don't want to become a fence company capable of doing that. And I'm sure as heck not interested in building and installing it by myself.

So I've went to a major fence company and they agreed to work with A & M and I'd get a designer fee and maybe a consulting kind of thing.

We had the sample powdercoated and delivered it to the facility.

A & M loves it and wants numbers to see if they can afford it.

Fence company calls me with a hiccup. Everywhere they send pictures of the sample they get the same reply. "It's pretty. We can't do it."

Today there's supposed to be a meeting with the people at A & M and the fence company, yeah, me too. If they go for it it looks like I'll be supplying the double helix pieces for the installation.

It could be worse. I could be having to become a fence company.

It's always amazing to see what you come up with. Until I saw the sample pics of it powder coated, I didn't have a clue how it was going to look.

Did you finish the cedar post entrances? I'm dying to see how the second one turned out with the rock base and forked posts holding up the cross beam.

Eddie, I've been going seven different directions and all of them without a map. However, I've got the powdercoated gate assembled and I'll try to get some pictures of it tomorrow.

That's a great idea! If A&M doesn't buy it, paint it burnt orange and sell it to UT.
