I've used Kohler faucets and sinks in maybe six houses over the years. Never a problem of any kind so have no idea about customer service!
Reviving this thread because I need a new high arc 4 hole kitchen faucet/spray combo- snip-
so what's the 2017 best faucet in the TBN opinion?
I put a Blanco faucet in the kitchen when I did the addition over 12 years ago. Soapstone counters with under mount "two bay" porcelain sink.
Two years ago the faucet started leaking at the handle, so I called up the customer Service line.
They sent a replacement out that day, free of charge, including shipping!
We like it for it's simple lines. All metal except the "bumper washers" where metal would meet stone. Plastic has it's place!
At this point in my life I'm painfully aware a bar of soft soap under a dripping faucet may outlast me. I'm more concerned about if whatever faucet I install doesn't outlast me and I have to get down under the sink in 5 or ten years and fix it.Kohler will out last you.
.. they are all pretty much the same. You are paying more for fashion and trendy more then anything else. They all have plastic inside them and they all will have the one that has it's issues...
Let your wife pick the one she thinks looks the nicest knowing it really didn't matter what brand it was.
... Btw my plumber friends insist that now Moen and Delta make different versions depending on whether they are sold through the "big box" stores or through a plumbing supply house. ...
