Time to split the YM 3000

Had a heck of a hyd oil leak develope just under the joint where the clutch housing bolts to the trans. Clutch housing took on half a gal of hyd fluid. Think next weekend I'll split this thing between the clutch housing and the front of the transmission and see if there is a seal in the front of the trans housing that has failed. Question here is for anyone who might have split a YM 2500 or 3000 . After splitting, will the seal be replaceable from the front of the transmission or do I need to take something else appart to reseal the front of the transmission???
Think the problem was caused by starting in 0 degree weather without a pre heater. I now have a mag heater but need to repair the damaged seal, hope it won't happen again. Thanks for your time,

I might also add that I have all available manuals, but the O&M manuals are not for this exact tractor. Both of those manuals are for a 330 and not a YM3000. The 330 has a hydro shift and my 3000 has a 8 speed manual. For some reason the one manual that does match the YM 3000 doesn't show any seals??? This is the parts manual and the text in in Japanese. The YM330 is not as close to the YM3000 as the John Deere 950 is. You would be better off with a 950 manual.

It turned out to be easier to split than I thought. Trouble was a missing rubber press in plug on the face of the transmission. Found the part in the front portion of the bell housing. Don't think it was installed by the rebuilder, if installed the bolted flanges would have prevented falling out. This is a rebuilt gray market tractor and it shows in the way that every O ring fitted part was assembled shearing portions of the O rings assembling the parts. No complaint, all parts are good, just need some new O rings and a seal, got lucky on this one. The only manual that was true to the machine was the parts manual that is in Japanese. You might be right about the JD 950 manuals, going to try to check it out, the Yanmar 330 manuals could have been better.
