Dog training.
If your dog is trying to take your whole hand when you offer a treat try this... shove you whole hand with the small treat in his mouth. Do this a few times and he will no longer open his mouth big enough to let you do this.
If your dog jumps up on you and you want to stop this simply step on his back foot each time he does it... soon he will stop

Dog training is not a black, unattainable magic trick. Anyone can do it. These mutt were told to be there with my darling nieces for the photo.

Every set of ratchet straps seems to have its own geometry for getting self-snug - this is just one example, but I've done this with a few different sets of straps.

I keep my straps in a wadded mess in an old cattle mineral tub. Every few months or so I get the urge to get them nice and organized. This is a sure sign that I will need to use them in the next week and they end up back in the same wadded mess.

I am going to try this though. I usually roll them up and tie them with a piece of hay string.

I use Dial bath soap, exclusively. Other brands may be the same... They started making them with a concave form years ago, which I thought was a way to make them smaller than the package appeared (like many consumer food packages are designed now).

I now take the small / end of life bar, break it in half and meld it to the new bar. If you lather it up and don't put too much side pressure on it, they stay put and "become" part of the new soap bar.

We use dial also and just take the old mostly used up bar and set it in there without breaking it in half.

I just madly rub the almost-disappearing sliver of soap between my hands attempting to get some sort of lather in the bar's later days

I'll try this if I ever remember to get a new bar out of the closet before going into the shower when the bar of soap is low, but my memory span for such things is extremely short and though I may think "oh I should try that" by the time I get out of the shower 🕊️ that thought has flown long by

I saw a tip years ago to put soap slivers in the toe of an old nylon stocking and tie a loop in it to hang over an outdoor faucet for a quick hand wash.
