I have an '05 Cub Cadet GT3235 with just over 300hrs on it, and I am tired of this @#$ thing dropping parts. Had it out for the first time this season - sharpened the blades, greased the zerks checked all the fluids and filter (I use it to blow snow as well) and all was good. Mow for about and hour and then I start to smell burning belt. Kill the PTO and look down - there in the grass is a tentioner pulley that has come off the deck. Not the first time it has shed parts - pullley's, bolts, nuts, it sheds them all. So long story short (too late huh?)
I need a zero turn - I mow apprx 4 acres, fairly flat with quite a few trees on about 1/2 acre area. Will most likely keep the CC and the snow blower attachment (it does a fantastic job at that) and will also use it to spray, aerate, fertalize etc...it mows fine -WHEN its running (blew the transmission last year but that is another story). Any advice on ZTR's would be greatly apprectiate.
