Andy, I don't agree. MSL loader is heavier, that's true, but parallel is nice if you have bale clamp or forks, as somebody mentioned.
Btw, roll back (close) angle on MSL loaders are usually BIGGER than on standard loaders, when bucket is in low position.
And you can't "spill" your bucket to tractor if you forget "open" bucket when you lift it.
And you need less effort to use it (not necessary to open bucket every second), as you probably know.
Nobody want to buy new FEL here, without self leveling (hydraulic or mechanic).
Just old used loaders are without leveling (even with mechanic bucket triggering).

One other thing you may want to check on. I looked at a new TN75D today and it had the foot operated differential lock. There were no hydraulic lines running into the middle of the front differential. On mine I have a toggle switch on the door column near my right hand for electro hydraulic differential lock. I also have a hydraulic line going into the front differential which I think serves to lock the front differential as well, When I flick on the switch, it steers harder and the outside tire in a turn appears to skid so I think the front axle is also locked. I know New Holland only specifies front differential lock on S models but I think I have it on a D model. New Holland build this tractor to replace my S model so I didn't specify it and perhaps they just added it as an option. I really like it.

On TN models, front differential has automatic, limited slip lock, and foot operated rear mechanical diff. lock.
On TND & TNS both diff. locks have to be servo actuated, according to my TN(A) brochure.
It seems that it depends of market and version.

My brochure for the TND-A shows foot pedal lock and front limited slip. That's what I saw on dealers lot today. My TND (2 years old) has the electro hydro front and rear axle lock. I've never seen that on a spec sheet for a D model, only a S model.

Andy,
Look at this link. On page 14 it shows that diff lock is as on your tractor. This is similar for UK and German market. Don't know how's in US.

O.K. May 6th in the afternoon I'll be visiting the dealer to sit down and finialize the quote to the option I want and give a deposit to have the TN ordered.

I'm still up in tha air about the loader. If the MSL loader and the standard (non-MSL) loader had the same rollback angle which one would you choose?

On last years and before the MSL is a totally different loader model. I'm led to believe that it may be an option now. If that is truly the case and it can be converted back and forth easily I would get the MSL. If the roll back angle is the same I would probably go MSL. I'm really comparing my TN loader and the 7309 loader on my 2120. The 2120 loader rolls back much further up high than the 32LA. At high lift levels, the roll back of the MSL on the TN just doesn't seem to keep material in the bucket very well, As I've said the MSL is great for forks, bale lifts and using the loader as a work platform (yes I know the risks)

I've got the MSL loader on my TN, and I really like it. Since it comes with the quick-attach, it was a no-brainer for me because I definitely wanted the QA and it was only a couple extra bucks to go MSL. One thing that I really like about it is being able to set the angle of the bucket for quick-and-dirty grading and control the 'bite' of the bucket without changing the angle.

The rollback issue is a little confusing for me. One of the reasons I went with the MSL loader was because the specs showed it to have a wider operating range than the regular loader. For example, the specs show my 33LA MSL loader to have a dump/rollback of 60/40 degrees and the regular 33LA to have dump/rollback of 46/18 degrees. I don't know if it's a misprint or not - maybe someone can find the specs online someplace because NH seems to have removed them from their site.

Edited: I found the 'most current' specs on the old loaders at the NH site. Here's the link (loader specs are at the bottom):

I have the 32LA MSL and have never tried the non MSL version on a TN. All my opinions are subjective. I just feel that I have a harder time keeping material in the bucket as I raise it high with the MSL that I do with my 2120 7309 loader. I suppose it could all be my imagination. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif I find that if I dig into a pile with the bucket level and start raising it,as it goes up some of the material starts to spill out. I try to "override the MSL" and roll it back further and find that I don't seem to gain much roll back. I'll have to play with it some more and see what really is going on.
