The new tractor was ordered today! TN70DA 4wd, electro shuttle, 32LC standard loader, quick-attach bucket device. Tractor is getting ordered direct from manufacturer. May take 2 or more months to get, could also be sooner.

I did get to drive the TN60DA 4wd with mechanical shuttle. Nice tractor. Cab is very roomy and confortable.

I'll keep you posted on the progress.

Congrats Derek

The wait will be worth it. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif Do you still have the 2120?

I still have the 2120. But its for sale. I've got a few people interested. They don't want to give me the $$ I'm asking and I don't want to give them the $$ they want. So we'll see.

Out of curiosity, what are you asking for your 2120?

Robert

Before I was aware that the TN series can handle the 759C backhoe I was selling my 2120 with the backhoe. At the point a Kubota dealer was going to give me $16.5K in trade for the 2120 tractor, loader, backhoe and cab. I decided to to keep the 759C backhoe and put it on the new TN. So now I'm asking $19k for the package with out the backhoe. I've had to people offer me $12k and one person pretty seroius at $15K.

What about the bucket /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif?. The first quote the dealer gave me he said it would be a 78" HD bucket. When I ordered the tractor he said it would be a 84" HD bucket. I asked him why the change. He mentioned that I can go with any size I want but he would prefer the 84". I am getting a quick-attach bucket device so really don't need a "New Holland" bucket, right?

Also...

What makes a Heavy Duty bucket Heavy Duty? Usaully HD weighs more which mean more steal which makes it stronger. Are they designed any different? My 2120 has 72" material bucket which is not heavy duty. I found out after that a material bucket is usually larger (capcity wise).

So what I want is a HD non-material bucket???

HELP???

I have a heavy duty 72" bucket on my TN. My friend has the HD 84" on his. He has just got his tractor and I have not had a chance to use it to see if there is any difference in loader capability with the larger bucket but I don't think there would be much difference. My bucket is plenty strong and I have used it to lift out some huge trees as well as lift concrete storm boxes and a few other heavy items. I lift from the center front lip of the bucket by attaching a clevis there and my bucket has no bends or what not in it at all. I have never seen a non heavy duty bucket so I can't tell you if they are that much inferior or not. Either way, the TN has plenty of power to handle the 84" bucket easily.

The 84" bucket is nearly perfect for the TN - and I think the 72" bucket might be a tad on the small side.

With the 84" bucket, you can scrape along walls and be well away from the tires, which is nice if you're clearing a pile of dirt away from a wall, or scraping a road that is bordered by a retaining wall.

I don't know what the difference is (if any) between the standard bucket and the HD bucket. I supposedly have a HD bucket, but it doesn't look any different than any of the others I've seen.

The 72" will fit the TN fine if the wheels are turned in. I have a space issue inside of our pens and by keeping the narrow bucket it allows me inside of some places I would not be able to get into with a wider tractor. Plus when we do work around jobsites the narrower tractor and bucket work well when working in tight spots. If all I was doing was using it outside in the open then I would get the 84" in a heartbeat.

Hi! new to the group-

I have 2 tractors a 1320 Ford and a 6245 Zetor- I am looking to buy a TN60DA or TN70DA or should I go to the TNS-A model? I have 40 acres that I brush hog/ I have sheep, horses, Min. Donkeys and soon cows-
We have a Back hoe that would fit the new tractor - and other implements as well.

Questions? When buying a tractor is it like a car and you can negotiate the price of the Tractor and the attachments?

What about trading in my other 2 tractors to the dealer? Does that give me room to negotiate?

How do I find what my 2 tractors are worth?

Is this a smart move to go to one tractor for all my farm work?

The Dealer told me the TN60 could do what I wanted, should I pay the extra $1857.00 and go with the TN70 I know the TN75 is more than I need- We do mowing, hauling, digging, fencing, gravel roads, etc with the tractors.

I was quoted a price on the FWD, quick release Font end loader and the cab.

I was quoted a price for the TN70 DA $31,346.00

TN60DA $29,489.00

Plus the loader is $4,720.00

What do you think of these prices?

Thanks for any help I really need it!!!!/forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif
