I think this may be a feature, not a bug. :laughing: Mine does the same thing. I've been intending to ream the hole for a year but haven't gotten around to it.
Mine was off by about a 1/4" also, I reamed the holes.My pins were so tight that after beating them out (or at least the first one until the bind was releasted ) there was no way that it would go back in. JD service guy couldn't get it back in and ended up taking it into the shop and they had to drill out the excess. Was about 1/4 inch off. I guess it is a common problem.
I love that term! My tight ROPS pin "feature" is already starting to loosen up a bit. Maybe it's because I've forgotten twice now to lower the ROPS before entering my garage..whoops.
