I'm really surprised you had that much difficulty. I measured 8" back from the edge. For my 72" bucket I measured 70.5". I probably measured more than a half dozen times before I was satisfied and did so at different locations along the front. Perhaps your bucket geometry is a little different. But mine fit perfectly "out of the box". Just slipped it in, drilled the holes, and tightened the bolts. Fits like a glove.

Me too. I had read elsewhere here that someone, likely you, had no problems. The braces had drawn from heat as well as the bar plate. They fabbed it up and shipped it as fast as they could, I'm thinking (told me to call before 10A and it's out the same day, and it was here in a jiff. Welds were decent, I've seen better (and worse), spatter in places says maybe the amps were cranked, and it was fabbed in a most precarious way, seeing that they have done this many times before. I wrestled with this thing for about three hours before I finally wedged it into place. There's room for improvement on their part, without a doubt.
