I have available a toothbar with replaceable teeth that is manufactured by a speciality loaser bucket manufacture. They are made to fit the bucket. They also make a heavy duty model for higher hp tractors. sheaftractor@coiinc.com

Derek, my toothbar (Long from Carver) arrived today. When I got home from a day long business trip.

Wife: "UPS delivered something for you today."
Me: "What?"
Wife: "I don't know and neither did the UPS guy. Neither of us could figure out what it is."

This toothbar is stout and heavy. I think my bucket would bend before this toothbar. While we all use our tractors differently, I can't imagine any homeowner/small farm/landscaping business needing the heavy duty model. The heavy duty model will not only cost more, but because of the weight, I imagine it will have to be shipped via motor carrier and not UPS.

Had a chance to use the toothbar yet? I Got a response from Carver. E-mailed them again early this moring with more questions but no response yet maybe tomorrow. Still haven't made up my mind on TB or STB. I would like to see a picture of a STB model. At 135lbs the STB 72 might be a lot to handle installing and removing.

No, I haven't had time to even install it yet! /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif That's on the To Do list for this weekend. The weight of the heavy duty bar was why I bought the standard duty one.

Hi Derek...

I'm certainly no toothbar expert... but I think with your 2120 and loader... there wouldn't be any noticeable added benefit of the HD toothbar unit over the regular toothbar...

Now if your loader and hydraulics capacity were like Mark C's massive EarthForce... then surely it would be a different story.../w3tcompact/icons/blush.gif

The only benefit would be the seller making more money...

Ordered my toothbar today from Carver's Equipment. I spoke/ordered it throught Terry Giles. I went with the TB model 72". Terry recomended I go with the TB model, he claims he never has sold a STB model. Said to be about 2 to 3 weeks for delivery to VT.

Just a curious question, what do most of you get for an inside measurement? My bucket is a 72" and it measured 72".

The ID of my 60" bucket was 59 15/16" although the longer I looked at it, the closer it got to 60" /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif since the end of the tape measure kept moving.
