No comment on good deal or not? Just wanted to see price huh

I sat on an L59 at my dealer yesterday ... nice tractor. The side instrument panel would take some getting used to, but I understand why it's there. Looking at the backhoe ... can it be removed to use the 3pt, or is that function gone?

I can't comment on the price as I've never gotten any other prices on these ... but $60k seems like a lot of money to me.

Backhoe comes off in 5 minutes, supposedly. The optional 3 rear remotes included in price will be for 3 pt implements.

List for m59 stock is right at 60k. Options list for another 8k not including grapple. Not sure what grapple lists for but quote is 8k in options plus grapple for around 60k

Not familiar with the grapple but assuming it is over 2k for it alone the close to 60k sounds about right. That is a lot more tractor than my 110tlb is and I bought it with all options except the radio with the Laurin cab, Gannon box blade, pallet forks and Big Tex 12k trailer for 60k in 2005. But that is a tlb comparable to the L45, not the M59 which will outwork both of those.

Once you have some seat time with it I think you will be very satisfied with the M59.

You could buy both a new L3200 and a decent used mini-excavator for about half that.

I would evaluate what you really need vs what TBN has talked you into.

What about used?

This is the best deal i've found and is a local dealer. I've talked to 20 dealers. This local dealer rents too and he said I can use their mini x for the two jobs i need to do until the tractor is ready.

Priced a new MX5100 w/loader and no backhoe. Was about 30k. Decent minix probably 10k. Better to pay cash for that because interest rate through local bank financing would be 5% or more. We're around 40k and have two machines to take care of, haul around, insure, and i'm 10k less in cash.

I'd rather hold on to cash, get one machine that does it all, make payments and have one machine that I can hold on to for 30 years.

Believe me, iv'e put a lot of thought into this. I've said before i couldn't swing an m59. We are closing on the refinancing of a property next week. The new payment on that property will be lowered by about the same amount the new m59 payment will cost me

Did you get a price breakdown? How much was the grapple? Which armstrong grapple was it?

From what i have seen that sounds like a decent price for what you get.
