Both spec out around 13k conventional. My 2003 dodge 2500 w/cummins can pull 500 or so more than the f350 with powerstroke. love that cummins. Bought the 03 dodge new in 04 to haul cargo trailer and equipment when i mowed yards for a living. Was probably pulling 3k lbs. Didn't want to spend as much as i did on a truck so bought last years model with manual so could afford the 5.9 Didn't know how i would need the extra power in the future but like to be prepared
From the pictures you posted I assume you are in East Texas, which is flat ground, shouldn't be a problem for you. I live in the mountains and can still pull my 110 and trailer with my F250 but most of the time use one of my F550's that is set up for towing. I do recommend you have a good set of wheel chocks for the trailer and use them.
