I mat need the lift handle if I build a front Degelman Silage blade for it.
Todays progress picture shows the new four headlights now mounted in the fenders. Also I build the housings and mounting brackets for the top orange flasher lights on the rear of the fenders. I decided to put one on each fender. I decided today my next project is going to be a 1/2 scale disc or field cultivator to hook to this 1/2 scale jd 4020 with the duel wheels. It will just be for show and I will build it light duty to make it easy to load for parades and tractor shows.:dance1:<img src="http://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/files/build-yourself/438122-tractor-no-15-will-cat-aafenderlights-jpg"/>

For a disk or cultivator. You could buy four garden tractor cultivators or disks like what i use



Or you could do a combination of both. Disk in front and cultivator on back

Yes, that is a good idea.
Todays progress picture on the 1/2 scale jd 4020 I built a new flywheel shield to cover up the exposed v-belt. I also redesigned the clutch pedal a bit for more clearance on the new wider front tires.

Todays pic shows I got the metal cut out , bent , drilled and painted for the right side shields. Today I will work on the front grill and the front weight .

No fancy designs, just basic sheet metal work.
I am very pleased today after seeing the new front grill built , painted and attached. Also I really like the front weights I built yesterday and painted and attached them this morning. The little 4020 is slowly taking shape.

Todays progress shows the new red fuel cap and the new black radiator cap . Also I shortened the lift lever and mounted the steering wheel spinner. And the new much more comfortable seat looks great too.
Today my four new tires and rims should arrive and if all goes well I should get the rear duels mounted for the first time and the tractor should be finished.

At my age I can't afford to just sit around , ha,ha,ha.
Yesterday my four new tires and rims arrived and I got the rims painted yellow. I also got the spacers built for the duels. Almost done with this project . It is far from perfect but it has been another great little project.

Two weeks ago I could not get $500.00 for this old jd 110 round fender. I had several people stop and look but no buyers. I did sell the other 2 110 round fender tractors I had . So I took this lemon and made lemonade , ha,ha,ha. Now I absolutely love this little min 4020 and I know my little grandson is going to love driving it too. It really seemed good to be back in the workshop the last two weeks.:cool2::cool2::dance1::dance1:

Todays pics show the 1/2 scale jd 4020 out in the backyard for the first time. Deb downloaded a video of me pulling out of the workshop and driving it in the backyard for the first time. It is fun to drive . I am very happy how it turned out. I will try to get more than $500.00 for it now, ha,ha. The six new tires should arrive this Sat. Once I get the second one done I will put them for sale on Craigslist . If they sell I will build me another one and if they don't sell I will just enjoy them myself with my grandson. There is a fellow in Southern Michigan that sells them for around $10,000.00 ea. Mine are not as nice so I will ask $4,000.00 for this one and $5,000.00 for the next one. The next one will have hydrastatic transmission and duel hydraulic outlets so I will have a lot more into the tractor to start with. The next one will also have rear duels as I love how they look.

Todays pic shows the 1/2 scale jd 730 up on my lift. I robbed these fenders off this tractor and put them on the new 1/2 scale jd 4020 project . So I built this new set for this tractor . I also bought another jd garden tractor yesterday and hauled it home . So the second set of new fenders will go on that next 1/2 scale jd 4020 project. I will try to sell one of them and keep one of them. If it does not sell then my grandson and I can have matching mini 4020's , ha,ha. Three more days I should get the new tractor in the shop and get going . This one has hydrostatic transmission and duel hydraulic hookups so it will be much nicer to drive.

After selling 5 of my little tractors recently it was time to buy one, ha,ha. Last Sat. I dragged this old jd 140 tractor home. This has hydraulics so now I can build a disc or piece of tillage equipment and raise and lower it. I could also build a working three point hitch for it . This will be another fun 1/2 scale jd 4020 project.

Todays pic shows the old 1/2 scale jd 730 narrow front tractor with new fenders, new lights, new seat , and I am now fabricating new running boards. This will all make it much more fun to drive. Maybe duel rear wheels too ??
