If you don't have access to a welder, let me know if I can help. Step drills work fairly well for larger holes too. I have one that, I think, goes up to 3/4".

thanks for the offer, will let you know if anything comes of it. Going to look at a tiller next week so money might be tight for awhile. Haven't seen it yet, but it is a Kuhn EL-25 (4 foot) with slip clutch. Price sounds good, but will know better once I have looked at it.

Oh, you wanna discuss a subcontracting deal??? How about a 5/95 split, you pay the fuel outta your 5. And I get weekend, overtime, holidays, sick days, personal days and vacation pay too. No benefits though, I'll cover those outta my end :D

Well..... i went to the "Grand Opening" on Thursday. Saw the announcement in my newsletter email. Dare i say i was very disappointed. I feel the flyer is as decieving as most large retailers. Most of the items featured as "special buys" (or however TSC describes the items they are trying to move) were not even on sale. Like alot of other retailers, their "special buys" are items they feel are good values at the regular , everyday price. I see Sears do this alot. There were some items that allowed a TSC gave a giftcard by mail in rebate....... but why not just reduce the price??!! OK, before you respond.. i KNOW why they do the giftcard by mail in rebate. My biggest disappointment was that a place named Tractor Supply Company would have absolutely NO tractor implements on sale. Silly me ! I did still enjoy poking around the store for an hour or two, but TSC was unable to get me to part with any of the cash in my pocket. I can't say the same for the Subway a few doors down. Did anyone else go ??

Didn't know a thing about it. Could have gone on one of those rainy days last week... but sounds like I missed nothing.

But they did accomplish their goal: They got you in there for 1-2 hours. Funny how fast the time can go by in a TSC store. :)

And Subway wouldn't have made a dime on me... but you folks already know why! :D

Hey TLB - I guess I missed this fine offer of yours when it was posted. Sorry about that! :D

But what happens when the fuel alone exceeds my 5% share??? Guess I better hold out for better terms! :p

Hi All -

On the computer this afternoon I saw that TSC appeared again. Thought I'd give you an update on the 6' KK tiller I paid for back in August. As you know, the first one came in damaged with no PTO shaft (and they did not want to sell to me). Scott Neilson told me he would order a new one. Two weeks later it arrived without the right PTO shaft. They told me to take it and run it and if I had any problem with the PTO shaft, they would take care of it. I said, "No way. I will wait for the Eurocardan PTO shaft to come in before I pick up the tiller." It is a good thing I don't need this thing until spring, and I would like to tell them to forget it, but it is such a good deal I'm willing to wait. I have a John Deere 550 that works fine on my little Kubota, but it just is too slow for the food plot planting I do. I will keep you posted.

I picked up a drill press today. For $139.00, its not bad. The chuck shows a small amount of run-out but, it'll do ok for my needs.

Anybody have RuralKing in their neck of woods. We have them here in Indiana and they beat TSC too pieces for most stuff. When it comes to basic tractor parts and such they are pretty good.
