Scruffy, that's true, the real counterculture types go with Linux. The Mac is almost passe' compared to Linux.
Each type seems to work for someone, I just can't get past the fact that almost everytime I am near someone with a machine running Windows they can't seem to figure out how to turn off the annoying modem internet connection sounds. One fellow was looking at my Mac once on the internet and was shocked there was no modem sound. ( I told him Mac's don't make that sound /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif/w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif/w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif) Either Mac users are a lot smarter or the machines must be easier to figure out? I have my fireproof suit on...
just kiddin' I'm just glad we can all communicate on this board.
Speaking of Ie, Netscape etc., did I hear something that said the next version of IE won't support Java anymore and will make viewing Java coated websites impossible or difficult? Is Java from Sun, MS's lawsuit opponent?
