Isn't that know in the artist world as "selling out" /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Does it come with a good divorce lawyer? I'd love to have one, but the funds just aren't there...

Von, what a project! It looks like you have done a lot of work on a machine I really have been impressed with. I've seen them equipped just about every way and would enjoy having a couple just so I wouldn't have to take the snowblower off during the summer and still be able to till large gardens during the spring and to clear the snowmobile trails during the summer and fall.

Last night I watched the Milwaukee Iron show on Discovery. The red they used on the Lucas bike would be perfect. I think they said it was a 2002 bimmer color.

Of course I'd want the Lincoln Welder Red if I bought it. You see my powder coater processes a lot of that color and when I built an accessory for Rosie I'd want to be able to match the color. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

You are going to name her Rosie, right?

BTW Von don't tell anyone but we'd make a pair to draw to. It'd be snot slinging fits happening most of the time with me building something and you detailing it out so it'd look decent in polite company, but it would be fun. /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

I love your work.

The amazing thing is going back to the early photos in this thread and comparing them to the more recent ones. Specifically the early ones where the body was off, but the engine and transmission was still there in it's previous state. An amazing transformation.

Well I finally got the DoKa crew cab yesterday! After all the screw ups with customs and shipping its here. Minus some parts /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif that got lost when the crate fell apart so they tell me. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif I am missing the front fenders and the fuel tank, but I talked to the seller who arranged the shipping, so he is seeing what he needs to do to replace the missing parts. Plus they cut the wiring harness in about 6 places and I told them I need a compete harness, so they are going to replace that as well. So here are some photos of the cab. I need to replace the whole roof due to rust! /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif The floors are solid, but the roof is rusted! What kind of weather do they have in England anyway! I plan on using a older Dodge van roof as they have very close lines as the Unimog from the rain gutter on up. I wonder if any vans had a power sunroof? If I have to replace the roof, I might as well put a nice one on! /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Last one for today. Since I took these photos yesterday I have taken all the doors off and removed all the rear glass + windshield.

It overwhelms me just to look at these photos. Your vision, Von, is amazing. I don't think I could take that cab and make anything but small piles of metal.
