Wacky Warning Labels

Hey folks,
My 2 favorite ones are here.
On a set of Christmas tree lights the warning label says "For Indoor or Outdoor Use Only". Is there anywhere else?
On the sun visor of a rental truck, "Most truck rental accidents occur when backing". I've rented lots of trucks, but never rented one by accident.

If you want the (in the words of Paul Harvey) rest of the story then go here
--> Urban Legends Reference Pages: Cruise [Un]Control

Snopes is a great way to check stories before spreading them as true only to find they are oldy moldy stories out in many versions for years, sometimes interesting or funny, just not necessarily true.

Sorry

When I do training, one of the prime examples we use is the product we call

Methyl ethyl death

Kinda covers a wide range, and most students get the point. :D

We also tend to send Hazwaste to the land of "Away". Good place not to live.

When i went to Merchant Marine firefighting training the instructors always talked about "Methyl Ethyl Bad****" :D

Here are some more wacky labels:

On Kevorkian's suicide machine: "This product uses carbon monoxide, which has been found to cause cancer in laboratory rats."

On syrup of ipecac: Caution: "May cause vomiting."

On a laboratory microscope: "Objects are smaller and less alarming than they appear."

Bank loan application forms: "May result in prison if used as a note to the teller while attempting a bank heist."

In an explosives factory: "Do not use powderkeg for an ashtray."

I just yesterday received a box from Harbor Freight and as I was unpacking my "TREASURES" I was amused, once again, by all the warnings. I'm not sure just what it is about a rechargeable D cell that requires the use of ANSI approved safety glasses but I promise I will take it under advisement.

I'd bet a rootbeer float that the same goods sold in China do not come with any such warnings, comrade.

I was steelhead fishing on the American River near Sacramento. Below a dam an old beat up sign said "Entering water at this point will lead to certain death"--got my attention!!
