Wacky Warning Labels

The only thing I find whackier than these signs is some of the law suits these morons win.

Our marina used to have a good sign. "No wake within shotgun range of gas dock"

CCSIAL, I do like that sign, as a sufferer of trying to work on stuff below decks in a "no wake" basin. Right up there with the sign I thought of but the wife prohibits as NOT FRIENDLY...

Caution, severe tire damage possible, my rifle, your tire.

Some warnings are really good... Still like this sticker off of my Kubota FEL...
Effective, eh? Makes you think twice when you're thinking about lifting a heavy load up high.
I can just imagine the people in the Sticker Design Department (surely directly reporting to the Legal Department) trying to come up with these graphics. Think of the conversation:
"Hey George, what do you think of this large cannonball falling on the guy in the tractor?"
"Yeah, that's great, Gus, but you need to put his hands in the air trying to stop the cannonball to show the futility of it."
Gus: "Oooh, ooh, yeah and the cannonball needs little motion marks around it!"
George: "Ooh yes! And make the cannonball LARGER and BLACK!!"
Gus: "Oooh, yeah, and MORE MOTION MARKS!!! Legal will love this one!!"

This sticker made me think of an uncomfortable moment on my Kioti this summer. As I had the FEL fully up & rolled the bucket back for just a moment I thought of someone's post about their quick-tach bucket falling off. The "cannon ball' could just as easily be a loose bucket sliding down the FEL arms onto my lap !!!!! Have never had that thought before as this is my first quick-tach tractor bucket. MikeD74T

I can still remember when "Tresspassers will be shot" signs were quite common. After those went away I remember a hunt club near here that posted 4x8 pieces of plywood along the highway that bordered their property and by which they must have gotten a lot of poaching. Each one was painted to say:

Dark Corners Hunt Club
Danger!
High Powered Rifles in Use!

I thought that was very crafty. It looks like a warning sign but the threat is clearly implied.

There is a novelty 'tresspassing' sign that I think is funny that says, "Tresspassers will be Violated."

Now see, that kind of warning label/sign is useful and succinct!

"Not for use by idiots."

That should replace about 99% of all warning messages.

Going along with the trespassing signs, I still have this one posted on my rural property.
I get a kick out of it.

I can read where it says WARNING but I can't make out the rest.
