Warranty void by adding hooks on FEL?

...If you are on a concrete surface, you are basically screwed until the bucket contacts something that will hold it stationary... /QUOTE]

I park my loader on smooth concrete (garage floor) all the time, never had it slide during removal or installation.

I am not referring to your loader, but a NH 7308 and the identical model that followed.
I figured that was obvious when I referred to a specific operator's manual.

I knew you were refering to a NH loader, but why would a NH loader be any different as far as the parking surface? Does the manual state to not park it on concrete? Or, is there something in the design of the NH loader that limits it's ability to park on concrete?
Serious question...a loader that slides on concrete (during mounting or dismounting) seems like a design defect.

Ever hear the principle of the inclined plane? Apparently the rocket scientist that designed the 7308 hadn't. The loader frame is required to slide UP the front mount bosses. If the bucket doesn't have sufficient friction with whatever it is resting on, the loader moves forward rather than up & on. Stupid engineering.

OK...makes sense now...

Yep, a degree never made anyone smart...darn shame that a lot of folks have that delusion.

I can't reach out with the loader arms because they are on the loader.....which is parked ....separate from my tractor

or am I missing something?

I was not trying to hook up a quick attach bucket....as I have no QA anything

I had taken the whole loader assy off the tractor for welding

I thought you putting on your bucket. I missed it!!
