I never realized the site had tunes until I read this thread. I've always put my handy-dandy, Bill Gates provided, MS volume controls on MUTE. Nothing worse than a %$&* computer "beeping" at me first thing in the morning. Now I'll have to try some of the tunes you guys are talking about /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

Use Opera browser and you can stop those anoying sounds from being played along with stopping popup and cookies.

Sites with music are really a RED FLAG signal of a BAD WEBSITE DESIGN.

1. It slows down the download of the page
2. Gives NO value to the information -- unless you are trying to sell music CD's -- and even then, there should be an OPTION when to start playing the music.
3. Is extremely ANNOYING. (I want a recount on Steve's voting results)

Websites that play music are just one notch above those *** sites that popup window after window (now, I of course haven't seen this for I NEVER visit *** sites -- this is what I have heard) Yeah Right! he he.
