17 Hours 4075r, It started making an odd sound. I needed to move 2000lb pallets of pellets and could not pick them up.

I would have thought the same thing a few years ago with Deere. This is what I found this morning. A new hydraulic leak on top of the transmission. It looks like the tee is leaking. It just never ends with this tractor.

That is crazy to see. A pioneer fitting on the back of ours is leaking, and I have to look at that as well.

Thanks for the update. I agree that the driveshaft cover is a total joke. It is unbelievable that John Deere won't replace this driveshaft cover. My new cover keep spinning and rubbing on the oil pan, so I shimmed each end to stop it. My hydraulic leak was a loose fitting on the tee. I really hope they get you're issues fixed. Keep us updated.

The service tech said the driveshaft cover had a TSB, and they will have an updated one that supposedly fixes the issues. They should be able to order it for you. They have escalated the case, but they are waiting to hear from JD and what they should look at next as they do not know what could be the problem. One area of concern was all the oil built up on the fan and engine when we took delivery, which makes us wonder about the tractor's history. The tech was here for 3+ hours Monday and Wednesday, and I had him make a note of it.

I am guessing that a tsb is a technical service bulletin? If so they have not contacted me on that. My 4066R had over 800 hours on it and the drive shaft cover was perfect. This 4075R has performed the same tasks as it did. So is the driveshaft turning faster on the 4075R, or what the hell is the deal? I find it hard to believe that anyone reading this forum would want to have a 4075R. Thanks for the update.

The tech stated the newer one was thicker and had other changes.

Hopefully the inside diameter stayed the same because it barely clears the driveshaft couplings. If the outside diameter is larger and fits tight on each end to keep it from spinning, it would be better. Let us know how it works for you. This time of year I don't use mine as much, except for downed trees and cleaning out gutters. If my wife lifts me up in this modified tote.

I believe they installed the new one on Wednesday, but I can take a few pictures and upload them. There is no ETA for repairs on mine, as they do not know why it's not lifting or why the new pump flows even less. It's flowing 1.5 gpm less than my prior tractor and 3.2 gpm less than the specs. I'm at the point where I would prefer it to be taken back. The fact that it showed up with the fan and front engine coated in thick oil makes me question the history of the tractor. Of course, the dealer refuses this, but I did in an email request to return in writing before the 30-day limit.

Thanks for the update, I feel your pain. I will most likely never trust my tractor, so I don't take it any farther from the shop than I would want to walk back.

The dealer really came through and is buying the tractor back. It's about a 4k loss. Hopefully, we can find something quickly; only JD, Kubota, Massey, and Yanmar are close to where we live; Kioti is over an hour away.
