Welding Web Down?

We already have a welding forum on TBN. But if WW is not going to be functioning then I wouldn't be opposed to starting one on its own.

I tried to register there today and that site seems really messed up. When I clicked the 'Complete Signup' button some type of pop-up showed up with no text and won't go away. I did get an activation e-mail but all the fields were blank so none of the URLs work. FUBAR. I e-mailed the admin at the address posted a page or so ago here.

Are you saying that Everlast Welders runs/owns Weldingweb and that I should contact them for my registration problems? Or were you replying to someone else?

no i was saying that if you want to get ahold of someone about an everlast welder u can use that info - if you are tryign to get registered do it on a computer i have nto had very good luck with doing things via my android phone lately

That one 'registration' page will hang o'night, but once you click 'send' you have an ID and 'register' email is sent.

Problem we're having is that the email contains 'examples' of.

^^ Yep that's what I got. And then I received reminders that I hadn't completed registration and those emails contained the same gibberish. When I searched using some of that text I found years old questions about people receiving the same stuff then. Someone mentioned it was due to an old VB version. I gave up.

Someone (several) offered a 'fix' for this four or five years ago. It made coding Linux from command line look easy.

I'm willing to wait and see if things get sorted out with WW and something works eventually.

i am able to logon but its klunky for sure, i see a lot of guys i used to communicate with have not been on in a while probably gave up and got frustrated - sad....
