These would have to be the best 2 implements I ever bought, PH Auger and forks. That leak looks to be on the outside of the seal and not on the shaft.Even a big slurp of Lucas stop leak won't fix this one.

Paul, what a gorgeous site you have there!

It is a beautiful and peaceful part of the country. I'm only less than an hour from Melbourne yet it feels like I'm hundreds of miles from any capital city.

I've been busy building a new internal fence, this time it's much more sturdy as my wifes horse destroys normal wire fencing...:smiley_aafz:

Is that your augur, and did you try it? You might be surprised. I wrapped a length of bailing tape around the putput seal of my rotary mower and started a pouring leak. Lucas has held for about 10 years now. Approx same viscosity as 90wt.

Yeah Norm I did. I stuck about 200mL of stop leak in it but it still persists. Even that is leaking out now too.

A few weeks ago I stuck some prestone ring sealer in my YM14 to see if I can slow down the oil burning. Using it today I think it has slowed it out the exhaust as it is nearly non existant there but I think the blowby is worse? I'll have to keep an eye on it. I did manage to seal up the injectors as they don't suck air or leak past any more but it still runs like a pig at idle.

I have used Restore on a golf cart and It slowed the oil smoke out the tailpipe, you could try that as well.

Actually, is that in a yellow bottle? The stuff I bought was made in the US and to be honest I can't be sure it was Prestone?
