What else do you do with forks besides lift pallets?

After that, it's open season so I'll be looking for ideas since I now have the solution. :)
Here is an idea to keep in mind.

Picking up a cedar tree long ways, with the forks.

I put the forks in the limbs, the bottom of the frame on top of the trunk and curled back.

My forks are made of 1 1/2" round stock (actually old truck axles). A lot of my "stuff" has sections of 2" square stock welded in strategic spots so I can just run the forks in and carry it around, such as my 9' long wood splitter.

xfaxman--The more I look at your Bobcat, the more I admire it and wish I had a reason to get one.

Well I didn't have any reason to keep my tractor after I got my first Bobcat compact telehandler, so sell one of your tractors and get one.

People think of telehandlers as big machines, I need to figure out a way to take some pictures that show how small it is. Maybe could park it next to my truck.

I have seen a V417 on the back of a semi and a different brand compact telehandler at the local rental yard. They aren't nearly as big as I expected. The full size ones on the other hand are huge.

That sounds like a PITA to line the forks up with 2" tube.

I raised a neighbors shed with mine. He had hauled in dirt and that put the shed below grade. We lifted it straight up and put solid 4" blocks under it and set it back down.
