What "extras" do you regret when buying nee

should have bought the 2nd rear remote at purchase. bought it later and though the price was the same i had to install it myself.

i wish i had gone one size up in power, though the frame size would stay the same and i wish i had gotten the power reverser trans for more speed options. I wish i had a R between A range R and B range R, a gear between A 3 and B1, a gear between B3 and C1 and something higher than C3

I am glad I special ordered the SSQA and added font hydraulics

I would never consider DIY'ing a cab on a new tractor. My expectations would considerably exceed my abilities. :)

Having had a shuttle 50 HP tractor I was downsizing, unlike some of you. So I don't regret the HP change. Or the change to HST. Love it. But my needs were different. I loved the HP I had but I just didn't need it and the size and weight of the whole unit made it difficult for me to move around from place to place and to even for me getting older to attach the bigger implements. And the things I do now lend themselves to HST. I like it much better for loader grapple and land maintenance type stuff. Matters not much either way for mowing and bush hogging which is the remainder of what I do.

I did get 50 hour service plus related pick up and return free. My dealer generally gives that to everyone who buys from him.

But I do wish I had gone ahead and had rear dual remotes put on. I don't have anything to use them on right now but thats an easy enough fix if I do need it. I did since add the third function for a grapple. Also and easy fix after the fact. I'll probably also add linked pedal to is some point. Not sure I need it but there are a few jobs I do it would be nice to apply it. The fact it can be turned off or on makes is a little more attractive. And perhaps the cruise control function for mowing. It might be handy sometimes. But its not a top priority. All things that can be added after the fact. Those things are all I can think of.

So your regret list is: More rear remotes. 3rd function. Linked pedal. Cruise Control. :D

And not in that order! LOL

Probably not a really a "regret". Just things I will do and maybe should have done from the start. But all easily doable after the fact. The third function does not come as a factory option anyway. But the other three do. And Im luke warm on the last two.

Yep, totally understand. This thread title is a bit vague. You did an excellent job of "brainstorming" your purchase and adding comments. :)

Well I should add that my tires were filled as well so I cannot regret that either.

And I do regret getting so old so that I had to downsize...

I don't think any of us would prefer the alternative.

At least twice as many HP. My tractor does everything I need but sometime it strugles. I think I should have bought at least 60 or better 80 HP machine. But then all implements would cost proportionally more also.

I would add: Do not buy any too cheap implements. You will hate them. I bought few so I know. Fortunately I have means to modify them to make them work better.
