What have you done to your Branson today?

Finished cutting up and splitting the rest of the box elder tree I started working on previously. Found yet another handy use for my forklift attachment.

Abused my "box store" riding mower again too.

Nice video. I think if you'd put the bucket on the FEL and put in a full scoop of dirt or gravel, you may have been able to keep your front tires on the ground for the boulder relocation. Just a thought. I did fast forward through the singing part (lol, sorry). I would have liked to have seen more video details shown on mounting up your backhoe. It seemed "easy" in the video, but that could have just been in the video editing? Just found that part interesting as I don't know anyone close to me with the Branson backhoe, and I'm curious about them. How many times a year would you say you swap that back and forth?

Liked the scenery shots too. Pretty country up there.

Hi Slim. Putting the backhoe on was easy this time.

I've run across the pressurization problem before but the way I stored it this time and the fact that the hydraulic fluid was cooler than when it was stored eliminated that problem.

Even though the area I store the backhoe is about as bad as can get, once the tractor and backhoe are reasonably lined up and the hydraulic connections are made, it's pretty easy. I think for those who have a pad to store the backhoe on it would be a snap. It's all cause and effect mechanical problem solving.

The one area I've improved greatly in general is my ability to swap out attachments quickly. For a beginning tractor guy it can be frustrating and frustration is the enemy.

Next time I do it I'll try to shoot the video in greater detail. Thanks for the good feedback.

That's indeed a beautiful place Bob. I love seeing the hills and the woods in the back.

Nice video! I enjoyed it very much.

Didn't do much with the Branson today but yesterday she did about 36 miles on the roads, 18 miles to pickup a little Massy 20 rake and bring it home.
It will be used mainly on the IH 574 as that will get in and under tress better in the yard.
I'm going to be using the hay rake to rake my yard with my screwed up should and copd raking a large yard was getting to me so when I found a pto powered rake I figured to give it a try.
Test run today going to have to make some adjustments to the trailing wheels and i think it will work good.

I realized I didn't fully answer your question Slim. Yes I actually have a large pile of road base but my neighbor was using my FEL bucket so I just used the split brakes. It's the same situation I had with the 275 gallon IBC totes but I had the FEL bucket available to me that time.

I would say I go back and forth from the backhoe about twice a year... twice with the backhoe and twice without.

That's indeed a beautiful place Bob. I love seeing the hills and the woods in the back.

Thanks very much Pedro. I want to re-learn welding when I buy one someday soon hopefully. I love seeing the stuff you've built.

Lou, that rake is folded up in the pics, correct? How wide does it open up to?

Beautiful place Bob! I really enjoyed the video.

I have used the brakes to steer a lot over the years. That video also showed the value of having a HST when you were positioning the boulder. I have always preferred gear tractors but your HST proved it's value performing that task!

Great idea Lou! Let us know how you like it after using it a few times.

No it's a compact 3 pt mounted 7 ft wide side delivery rake.
It will cover a 7 foot swath in use.
