Wishing all of you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to everyone!

Honestly, the way the world is and how badly people behave on social media, being a part of this community has been a godsend for me.

People on our message board set aside their differences and just focus on helping one another out. Many members of our community routinely go to great lengths to lend help to total strangers. Being here has helped remind me of all the good that still exists in our world.

Warmest wishes to all of you guys.

Branson Bob,

I agree 100%

Hope you all had a nice Christmas! Here’s to you with a snapshot of my lamp post. I’m partial to kerosene lamps & always liked how simplistic they are.

Merry Christmas everybody.

I used my Branson yesterday to clear snow off my driveway. We didn't get much snow, but there was enough of a drift on the pad in front of the garage that I didn't want to hand shovel it. 😁

Today I am going to put chains of the front wheels and use the FEL and blade to remove snow drifts from our road. I'd normally use my 1 ton pickup and it's snow plow, but I am going to use the Branson just for a change of pace. It is 1/4 mile of gravel road with a lot of of rise, most of the rise in short steep uphills.
Last year when I took the Branson to the bottom of the road w/o chains, I couldn't get back up!

I can certainly relate to that, I could easily plow down my driveway,
but, no way getting back up without chains in snow.

Snowed some and blew hard all night. Supposed to keep blowing hard until 10am. I can't see getting serious about clearing snow this morning (case of "The Mondays") until after the wind dies down. Thankfully at least today neither Mrs. Slim or I *must* get to work. Looks like all the roads in the state are shutdown this morning. Mostly from the wind (gusts over 45mph) creating drifts and white out conditions.

Got plenty of wood for the wood stove, so we're just going to sit here and watch it blow this am.

I did the hydraulic oil and engine oil & filter on the 4520, 137 hrs and runs great.
Oh yea, and I mounted a radio cd on it.

My over the weekend project it not complete yet couple more things to do and they to get the cover pulled tightly over it. This will keep me dry and out of the snow the top picks right off and has no weight to so I can get back into the shed.
Yes, the ROPs will fold up when its complete.
