What is the most efficient snow removal machine?

Haha, yeah, not much stops it... And as luck would have it, looks like snow is gonna be flying tomorrow!

Lot of youngsters here. Missed the old time solution. Roll it down hard, then use it as a way. No need to waste fuel trying to throw all the mass of the snow to the sides. Some of you who don't know this history should google the old pictures of, simply squishing it down with horse pulled rollers, then simply "using" it.
Of course this would eliminate many jobs and would eliminate the road salt industry, so I only offer it as food for thought...

Rolled snow was fine for horse drawn sleighs and work sleds but come spring having all that snow and ice to melt meant you couldn't travel anywhere in a vehicle for several weeks. We still have mud season here where even a good 4x4 SUV can belly up and get stuck. Plowed paved roads are what it takes to provide 365 day service.
