Hans,

Way ambitious...don't think pictures will even do it justice...
Sounds like a pilgrimage will be required for proper perspective/w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif.

Carry on!

take a look at some of the Hatz engines. They have one with a quiet pack that is extremly quiet. These engines like many other German engines are oil cooled engines.

With silent pack

Hans: there will be another midatlantic pt test pilot meeting, we are getting together with our lawyer, Charlie, because we are going out on strike .... not enough snow to plow .... yet.

Have I got a deal for you. Trade yer lawyer for a mediator and a power dumper and lets talk.

someday, we in the landscape business use these great little machines, hope that Ed and all the rest in Tazwell will hear us and put a 30 hp Deutz in

This sounds like a description of the PT 1430!!

around here we need to get through these stupid little gates of 48", to access 2-10 acres ... because of the insecurity "little white fences" syndrome. otherwise i agree the 1400 series would be ok. but for easy accessed larger properties and heavier jobs we have a larger Kubota to do that work.

someday we will have an 1800 series machine FOR SURE.

MossRoad We are supposed to get some this week. Hope so

You can have some of ours too; I'm sure Hans won't want it all. We've had three whoppers this season so far and the Muni's are going broke! It's been nearly a week since the last one and they're still working overtime on it, winging it back and back and back, and now running about clearing intersections of snowbanks we can't see over or around.

And beautiful it is indeed,
Sedgewood

an old goldwing motor cycle and drop that engine there.

Finally, a workable idea. I have a Goldwing motor that only needs a small amount of TLC. I'll put it in the back of Bubenberg's truck when he comes to visit.

Hey Sedgewood - nice photo - would you happen to have a few more photos - to put on - i want to make a decision next week and I am really going back and forth on the 1430 and 1845 - I'm looking for a side profile - I have a 425 new unit - which I am selling

Are you in Columbia county ie north of Dutchess County

I grew up in Dutchess - I am now in CT - I am going to pick up some doors for that shed shown in my photo section probably next week if he is finished with them - the folks are New England wholesale hardwoods in Pine Plains (Dale Mitchell is the owner he knows me) - I think that is in Columbia County - Would love to see an 1845 before I buy it
- Terry at PT also knows me really well but I never looked at the 1845 while I was down there - only the 425 and I looked a little bit at the 1430 - the size of the 1845 is what is really making me think twice
