What to do with Bad Gas?

I am draining bad fuel out of my boat. I picked up two 55-gallon plastic drums from the local car wash. They had 都imonize in them. They are white not blue. Is there a way to make sure they will hold fuel/gas?

Look for an embossed stamping ... "HDPE". Using High density polyethylene is a must. The drum should also feel pretty firm, indicating good thickness.

Nothing saying "HDPE"
it does say. I belive they are I but it could be the nuber 1

I thgink I am good I found some inforamation that says they are "HDPE"
