What was the first mod you did to your tractor??

My tractor kept slipping out of 4 wheel drive and I didn't know there was an adjustment for it. The adjustment was to adjust a detent! So the first thing I did was make a bracket with a sliding knob to hold the 4wd lever in either 4wd or 2wd.
Now it is positively "in or out".

Curb feelers on both sides, neon lights underneath, spinner hub caps, 24" rims up front with 35 series tires, 8" chain steering wheel, crush velvet seat that folds way back so I can slouch when plowing, 12" diameter fart can muffler, hot glue on hood scoop, 36" tall rear wing on top of the ROPS and a full flame paint job.


Either that or a dented hood by rolling a tree across the top...

Oh, yeah.... dual dipsticks, GT knock-off steering wheel, re-bored cigarette lighter, and optional night driving package (headlights)..LOL! Reminds me of my days as a wrench slinger!

I bought my Grand L 4240 three months ago. I've enjoyed converting my trucks plow to the skid steer attachment.
I also machined aluminum caps to go over the end pipes on the fel so it can be used for storage. Built the light bar for the top of the cab so I've had fun so far. Today I'm starting anouther project on it.
