I REALLY have been trying to think of somethin! More lights (HID, please) is the best that i can do. But, then, I like having SOMETHING i can add...

Like, was mentioned, I was just thinking how nice the self bleeding fuel system is,especially with the covers over the engine, sure would be a pain not to have it. But certainly not the end of the world...

Kubota L3830 changes;
Idiot light for parking brake. Hand brake instead of the emergency brake pedal and lever lock system. Move the 3PH lever back up towards the top of the fender. Improve the deluxe seat suspension(not as good as Case or NH seats are).

L3130.
A second and third remote . ( it would be easier for me if the dealer did it /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif )And , no I don't need them yet. But It's just a matter of time before I figure it out /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
I probably should have gone with the La 723 FEL hd bucket and tooth bar .VS the 513 hd bucket.. (got short on $$$ )
And I'm with F350 Lawman ...Either put aux lts on the Rops or make them an option with the FEL . Failing that a welded light mount would be nice.
And my biggest gripe so far !!! The seat belt pulls from the right side (as in passenger side ) I don't know how many times I've instinctively grabbed for it with my left hand to find it's not there /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif John

OK, thought about it for a day. I've had this tractor since this spring, but I can honestly say that I'm still not that comfortable running it yet. I realize it's a compact tractor but I always have the feeling of being top heavy on it. It's like the wheelbase is too short or narrow. I was actually more comfortable on the little '47 2wd farmall cub.

Now when I have the loader off of it I do feel more comfortable and maybe that's got a lot to do with it.

I have loaded the rear tires about 40% full and that helped too. Even with the tires loaded like they are I get a rear wheel off the ground quite often when I hook a root with the bucket or drop a front wheel in a small hole with a full bucket. I'm just not used to the loader or being on three wheels!

I put chains on this weekend in preparation for plowing my hill. That will be the real test. The hill is quite steep and if you drop off the edge you're pretty much done for. One side of the dam is a pond and the other is a 45 degree x 30 ft. drop. I'm still planning on putting in some utility poles and cable but recent health issues have kept me from getting them in. I keep telling myself, "hey, you used to plow that hill on the farmall with one good tire and 2wd. This has got to be much safer! I test drove it on the hill the other day and it stops on a dime with the chains.

Sorry for the long winded post, I guess the bottom line is a slightly long wheelbase and wider stance. More seat time will probably be the key.

Ditto on the parking brake alarm. I'd make the thing scream if you put it in gear with the parking brake on.

Amazing how it makes the tractor so much slower.

I have a New Holland TC 24D and here is what I would like to see changed if it could.

- Three range HST
- Faster road speed
- Bigger tool box
- A little wider stance
- Factory option for three remotes
- More low end torque
- More gauges (amp, volt, oil pressure, HST temp. maybe even a clock)
- Ok, how about a cup holder
- DC port for my cell phones
- Factory TNT option
- Standard rear work lights
- Brake pedal on left side so you can hit the gas and brake at the same time.
- Lights on ROP or at least a hole to run cables through.

I guess that is about it.

A muffler that works better, then a quiter engine. A sealed battery from the factory.A steering wheel that had a relationship with straight ahead (so I could more easily use a spinner knob).A SIGHT GLASS to check the oils at a glance.(Remember when old motorcycles had this deluxe option built in?)A petcock to drain oils and transmission would be nice.My gripes apply to my 790.

I have a JD 4210 and would like a few features added:

A righthand side step to match existing leftside step.

Oil pressure and voltage gages, instead of warning lights.

Two or three lighter plugs for charging purposes and using a plug in spotlite, air compressor, etc.

Rear work lights.

A decent size toolbox instead of the existing one that barely holds a pair of gloves and a logbook.

I can add the step, work lights, and another toolbox but the plugs and gages would be difficult to integrate into the dash....the factory should offer them as options.
