Y'all cracked me up with the "walk of shame" comment. Some days it seems like I run laps over the 300' distance between my barn and workshop, and each lap starts with a sigh and drooped shoulders. In my next life I would combine the two buildings to reduce wear on my work boots. I am slowly building up a set of common tools for the barn, mostly from extras and spares. With two Kubotas, I realized I need metric tools for the barn now....
300' barn distance and being in a hurry is great cardio. Look at it that way.
I hear ya. Then mine is compounded by two work locations, 6 miles apart. Then it's the "drive of shame".......
Yes, it is. In your shoes you should have multiple toolboxes plus a bunch of lo-buck Harbor Freight hand tools.
