Junkman, I wanted to tell you to go to Wal-mart. They would have both there. I like cashews the best for nuts and I'am sire they'd have whatever cloth You'd need in bolts too. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

I second the tractornuts on this forum. When they converted the old mobile home plant i landfilled for we had to haul to another local landfill when the steel workers got there to put in the paint booths they had several tons of fasteners in blister packs and were allowed to loose a few. Their motel was in the heart of a dry county and i bootlegged a few cases to them. When I they would sweep up they put all their sweptup blister pacs and looses hardwares into a certain dumptser at the end of the 2 months they told me about how much they appreciated the beverages and all the special dumpstertreatment dad and I gave them. They told me when they put all the bolts in they put them in the back of the dumpster along with several sections of 1/4 by 2 by2 square tubings and shipping grates. When i went to the landfill it took me 2 hours to fill all my toolboxes buckets cans and saddle bags on my rolloff truck. Alot of times when TVA or another company puts in new power lines they leave buckets of old hardware and some new hard ware for the taking. Alot of times when i do work for the city ill find an abandoned hydraulic bucket with large bolts and such in them. I also save all the nuts and bolts off anything i stripp down for scrap iron. Ill take a few buckets and the impact wrench and the compressor to my junk pile. Its easy for me to do this because alot of times im trying to save the spares out of my demos. Then i just put the bolts in the sand blastor or the concrete mixer and some abrasives and clean them up and oil them. Its against my religion to chunk hardware. I dumped 2 cans today and got about a pound of half inch washers and about 500 selftapping sheetmetal screws.

Thanks all for your ideas and suggestions! Sounds like TSC is a good place to start. There's one in nearby VA, with lower sales tax, too /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif I'll be headed over there this week.

Thanks again folks...
