Why do people not want to work?

There is a dichotomy in the work force when it comes to semi-skilled labor and highly skilled labor and it seems that finding either that are willing to work is a major challenge in producing goods etc...

What it's going to boil down to is extremely high pay scales for high skill level work...labor will be matching management in pay in the near future...possibly surpass...

This concerns me in regards to raising minimum wage. Wouldn't we have to raise all wage scales to keep everything in perspective?

I think the perspective has to change...AI will take over much of what management does now...human hands on labor will be at a premium...

The way I see it. If you don't have the skills to command a healthy income AND you are wrapped up in consumerism, anyone with a little insight and math ability will see, that they won't get very far. So, in a sense, it's hardly worth starting. Work hard, and live a frugal lifestyle, and you might get somewhere, but who wants to do that?

Was listening to ads on local radio a few weekends ago. No interest furniture SALE. Pick it up and ENJOY it tonight. Don't pay anything for TWO years! Man, that must be enjoyable, to START paying for two year old furniture.
