If you have ebay problems they usually have an policy to give you your money back on items that are not as advertised. I would email a claim on your tires.
It ain't over 'til it's over... but, so far, the rather large and successful eBay tire seller will not budge. Zero help... period! They insist the tires could not possibly have been defective and that any problem I am experiencing must be my fault.

Next step is to contact the manufacturer (Falken) directly and see if they feel the same way.

I had a package stomped flat by the post office. It's amazing how they are trained to hand you something like that without blinking. She was surprised when I pointed out the damage. She gave me an appology and suggested it that they probably received it in that condition. In the end I was stuck with it. Any insurance goes to the shipper.

I had an order with a cage to be shipped from southern California to NH.By UPS I tracked its journey all the way. one cage 3 seperate packages. They all made it safely to Manchester NH. But the next day I only received two of the three.
In keeping with the rules such as mising people , I had to wait. For a wek the package never got scanned again. This package weights 67 lbs and was about 4 foot by 3 foot. (lost).
Filed the proper paperwork with UPS> they said they would reply, etc/ BLAH BLAH
After two weeks, I got the charge card bill for it. I called the cage company and asked what could be done. they said that they would send me another complete cage. And to rebox the relaining two and FED EX would pick up.
About four days later fed ex came with three boxes, and I got lucky all the boxes and parts, only one bent leg that I was a able to re bend. back.
I assembled the cage, and reboxed all the other parts in the box as the company asked me to and placed it for FED EX to pick up.(they never did)
After three month with the boxes sitting I called the company, and they said that I could keep the boxes. So I have 2/3 of another cage LOL
I assume two things.
1 The return shipping was porobably more expensive than just writing it off.
2.They were not confident that the transport company could get the two boxes back across country.LOL

I am VERY VERY pleased that the cage company stood behind the product.I will return the business there.

As for UPS> well. not so much,But alot of companys dont want to let you choose the mode of transport, so. its as is.

I am in toal envy of the UPS tracking system

Yeah, it looks good on the computer screen; sure wish it was accurate. Most of the time, packages are delivered on the date it shows, but not always by a long shot. And packages have been delivered when their tracking system still showed they hadn't arrived in Texas yet.:(

USPS is very much different in the city and in the country. When we lived down in the country, our postmistress had lived in the area all her life, her husband was our mail carrier, they had one other carrier who did the Saturday deliveries, and one other clerk sometimes in the Post Office. And when we first moved down there, I stopped in the Post Office, met both the postmistress and carrier, and they asked me if something wouldn't fit in the mailbox, did I want to pick it up at the Post Office or was there some place on the property I'd like them to leave it. I never had a complaint with those folks.:)

Those kind can simply be refused can't they? I had a bad package delivered and the UPS (or FedEx) guy said if it were him, he'd refuse it.

I did, and eventually got a new one. It was an Ebay thing, and credit card, and Paypal, so I felt like I had several layers of protection...guess that's a joke though:D

You're probably right Curly. In my case I wanted what was left more than I wanted the agravation and uncertainty of trying to get another. I was just ticked at how they act like nothing is wrong when they hand you something that looks like a dog's breakfast.

I like to think of them more as lively and exhilarating! :D

Sorry that my rant started a major complaints thread. But I just had to get that frustration off my chest.

Now I'd probably be a much happier and far more contented man overall if I owned a JD310 and an ASV RC-100... but as you well know, I ain't quite there yet!

Tig I can understand that someone did that to you. The majority of the folks that I see on the Windows for USPS really try to be helpful. If you get something like that again ask to speak to the postmaster or ask for the postmasters phone number. Continue to call the Postmaster until they get tired of hearing from you.

I'm afraid it was a Canada post employee. Worse yet, in this small village, it was someone who I had met before. When I examined the package with her she suggested that USPS had handed it off to Canada post in that condition. Nice touch.
I chose to walk away disgusted to avoid getting angry.
