I've been on a PC on this forum up until last month, about the same time the format changed. Now I'm on a Mac, which indeed has a Return key and an Enter key. In all the prior posts I was trying to create the line breaks with the Return key. Never knew I had an Enter key. I will now create two line breaks with the Return key.Did so. Now two line breaks with the Enter key. Nope, that won't create a line break at all. It just prints square boxes: Like those, if they print. Now I'll hit two more line breaks with the Return key.Did so.

That's the part of this that really confuses me, Glenn. Any chance you could save the source of a sample preview page (with paragraphs included) and post it as an attachment? Not sure if it's gonna tell us anything, but I'm getting more and more curious.

Can you try an experiment?
Instead of Return or Enter[/], try just typing <Ctrl>-M and <Ctrl>-L. Those two are the equivalent of Carriage return and line feed. The only sticker is that they may not pass through your browser. However, if they do come through, we could isolate what characters are causing the problem.

I will now enter Control M.Did so twice, and it created line breaks in the text edit boxes. Will now enter Control L. Did so several times, and nothing at all happened on the screen. Type your message, then copy/paste it into a text editor (whatever the Mac equivalent of notepad is). Then send it up to TBN as a .txt attachment.
Oh, and on the <ctrl>-M and <ctrl>-L, try doing them in sequence thusly:
