Its a tractor forum. Who cares how the homepage is sorted....is this kindergarden?
This is a tractor forum, are we not supposed to share ideas and thoughts?
Did your comment contribute to the discussion? No, then move along with your day.

Sounds more like a pity party and not sharing ideas and thoughts.

Funny, I thought sharing experiences was how people connect.
If listening is too hard, feel free to exit the conversation.

Yeah, it is really silly, RK doesn't make their tractors and are still listed among the bigbois. Yet TYM is down in peasent land.
Not only RK, also Summit, Bobcat ...
I'm wondering on what base moderators made there selection.
I'm new to this forum and have a T255 on order, whas TYM in the past a " big boy" on this forum ?

TYM used to be on page a few years ago. The RK line was getting more action than TYM and the forum owner moved TYM where it is now. RK posts have died down. I think TYM and RK should be merged as one TYM/RK since all RK’s are TYM’s. TYM makes tractors for a bunch of brands.

Perhaps a TYM master-header like John Deere, and then sub-headers for the brands manufactured by TYM, RK, Branson, Bad Boy, etc.

Thats what i kind of expected as well, i assume they arrange this according the amount of posts / readings ?
Anyone that has a idea how many units TYM sells worldwide ? and what this is compared to other bigger/ well known brands ?

Among the LS and Kioti brands, TYM is further up the ladder.

LS has been plagued with problems since 2019. Even recalling two tractor models and replacing them with different models due to twisted frames.

Kioti machines were fine until after 2021. Getting parts and warranty work has dropped into a black-hole.

TYM has had a few ups and downs after the Branson purchase. Some Branson models immediately had no supplier parts as a had competitor made them.

Even the big boys have problems. Deere especially.

More salt into the wounds, the global economy is hurting. And with people not coming back to do manual labor jobs of making parts, it hurts everyone in the supply chain.

If anyone is looking for a machine, find one with a good track record, global engine to get parts anywhere and most of all verify the dealer near you will not let you hang out to dry. This goes for most brands up high or mid-way on the ladder.
I'm new here and I've just been reading and trying to learn. What you said sounds like good advice.

Yes, the TYM and RK merge would be ideal. The only oddity is the RK with Yanmar engines.

Yanmar has it's own brand and also is involved with Cub Cadet, Deere, Komatsu, Mitsubishi, and others.

TYM also acquired Kukje. For the past 60 years, Kukje has made engine and tractor parts for many of the Japan tractor brands. And Kukje is licensed to product Yanmar tractors in Asia and Korea. Sort of a wild thought how all of these companies are closely tight with one another.

Even Mitsubishi and Mahindra are a combined company as MAM. Kubota is buttering up to join the two in a joint venture right now.

Who knows what the next 5 years will bring in the Ag machine industry. America will be hurting the most due to the tariffs. Yet some country imports are not affected. hmmm

If you own a machine now, I hope it's a popular model with a global footprint. Perkins, Kubota, Yanmar engines are in so many things. Should you have the popular long produced engine, then parts and repairs are way better.
