Why TBN isn't as enjoyable anymore

Come on, we are all members of the TBN club, let's practice being a little more brotherly.

99% of the TBN members are already brotherly. It's the 1% trolls who are (and always will be) the problem. Getting rid of them would instantly MAKE TBN GREAT AGAIN.

Why I like the points system used on TNT. Everyone on there knows EXACTLY where they stand at all times. 10 points and you are kaput.

You don't have to be a poster on here very long to figure out who the bad apples are either and a few of them have posted on this thread as well.

I always have and still do enjoy this forum despite some of the less than stellar comments. Been here a long time and it hasn't lost any appeal for me.

LoL...Before calling someone a troll (which is name calling and entirely against the rules of TBN BTW)...you should at least know the difference between one and contributors that push the envelope...some people obviously have no clue what a troll is....too funny...

Yes. But, in my defense we hire the best our budget will allow, at our level professionals are held to a higher bar. But... s*^% happens and you have to move on.

There is just as much controversy in a majority of popular threads here at some stage...I'm sure the whiners and finger pointers read every word and keep checking for the latest replies when things heat up...they just can't learn to skip past whatever they find so offensive...they hunger for something to harp about...

Thanks for the insight :thumbsup: I didn't know TNT had a points system. Now I understand why Muhammad posted (#109) on this thread about a "10 warning system" at TBN ... he wouldn't have to reinvented the wheel.

+1... get rid of less than half a dozen people and the problem is solved. Two warnings, then third strike "YOUR OUT!"

I've got a 10 warning system in mind. But this is basically the idea.

@What someone said about the times & recent tension nationwide with the virus thing. I like to think I've been annoyed more often than annoying.

My top five list of pests remains empty. I've done my share of sniping too, but I get over stuff so quickly I never bother to put anyone on it.

btw, 5030, Moss, and Big Barn top my "Good Humor" list. IMO they do much to make TBN enjoyable & ya just never know who else is on that one.

LoL...When it comes down to "taking names..." and making lists... methinks a lot of it has to do more with general dislike and personality differences than it does actual rule breaking habits...

There is a big difference between being controversial and posting opinions that go against the grain of some/many but don't really cross any lines and those that actually break a defined rule...

The interpretations of comments often turn something benign into directed insinuations which is often not the case...people tend to read too deeply into casual remarks which ultimately leads to degradation of someones online persona and character or reputation...
