Why the length of the top link pin is different?

If you purchased those implements new they should have come with the correct pins for that implement. Every attachment that I have bought new I made sure correct pins came with it whether it was a bush-hog,PHD or whatever. Now if you bought used thats a different storie.
I also on top center link depending on implement have used big thick bolts/washers in a bind. :2cents:

You must live a charmed life. My bush hog, woods box blade, or KK rototiller, KK rear blade never came with top pins. Either a pin thief was in the area, it was a cost cutting measure, or the dealer put them in the parts bin. I never expected them to come with attachment pins.

All of my Landpride attachments came with pins except rear scraper.

Buhler supplies top pins / links with their equipment?

I have several cat1 and cat2 implements. I don't think any of them have the same toplink width. Like mentioned above, every manufacturer is different. My IH implements have a very wide toplink attachment point. They will fit a cat3 toplink. I also have never had toplink pins as OE equipment. I do have a top pin for every attachment. Just makes it easier.

Sorry too hear that.

My Woods box blade came with a pin, middle buster, and bush hog (both from TSC) did not. Toplink width is different on all three.

Instead of one pin that stays with the top link, have a right-sized pin that stays with each implement.

Just get a long pin and use it for everything. You're only ever going to have one implement on the tractor at a time. What do you need more than one pin per tractor for? (Except as a backup, in case you lose one, of course.)

My tractor came with a short top link pin. First implement I bought, it was too short to use. I bought a long one and have never looked back.

I bought one of each cat. 1 pin size that TSC carries. I'm covered.

It looks like that implement is designed with a Quick-Hitch in mind. Either use the longer pin, or get a QH at forget about keeping different length pins altogether.
