Well, thanks to this thread I took a long weekend intending to begin harvesting trees for the firewood supply. But the weather was so spectacular that I never got around to it! Five days of sunshine in a row -- last time that happened in late Feb or early March was in 1972! /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif
On Friday morning I did manage to plow the old logging road so I could reach the trees. But by that afternoon with highs in the upper 30s I figured the time off would be better spent doing other things. So Tamara and I cleaned out a corner of the back of the garage (sort of a storage shed full of old car parts and scrap steel, etc) to make room for a semi-enclosed sheep shelter. We have this dread of dealing with new lambs arriving in the middle of the night while a blizzard howls outside! I ran power and lighting back there, as we have no desire to deliver lambs by braille, and with heat lamps we should be able to work in relative comfort. While I was at it I rewired the entire garage from the sub-panel with 220 for my big compressor, two 15 amp lighting circuits, and two 20 amp general use circuits. All the 110 lines are GFCI protected. Now some decking in back to keep the sheep out of the mud, and a low wall to keep them out of the rest of the garage, and we're in business!
So here I am back at work still wired from the excitement of getting so much accomplished at home! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
