No harness?????
In most cases OSHA requires you to have a safety harness attached to the lift as falling out of the lift is a much bigger threat than hydraulic failure. The simple fact is that most common cause of injury and death from falling involves ladders. I understand other people have different experiences and concerns but a hydraulic hose failure is no more sudden or dangerous than a ladder footing giving way.
