Thanks Whiskey,
I ordered the parts and service manuel from Hoye. It comes with the operators manuel and finish mower manuel and a manuel for the factory front hydraulics control valve. This also has an electric front PTO that is original. It will be delivered tomorrow and I'll get some pix over the week end for anyone who may be interested.
There are a few dealers who visit this site and maybe one of them will let me know if they have a loader for this unit.

I for one, would love to see pic's..... /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Factory loader would be a nice find....very rarely you will see one on E-bay but don't hold your breath, there gettin' to be very few and far between. My understanding is the Yanmar loader was made by a Canada company that no longer is in biz.

Bushog should have a loader that fits. I hope to pick one up for my YM226D in a few weeks.

Sounds like you got a good deal on your YM186D. I would probably want at least $3K to part with mine and it is rough . I honestly think that the former owner thought that it was a skidder and used it accordingly. It does have an over-running clutch and even makes a ratcheting noise as the bush hog spins down with the clutch depressed. I would enjoy seeing some pictures also.

I have a few photos for those whe were interested . Here is one . I posted the rest in the photo section. I pulled the radiator today and flushed it out and the fins out . Degreased the entire thing and washed and waxed it . This is an exceptionally clean unit . I think I got a very good deal and an excellent find. All I need is a loader and this should be the last tractor I need. (I may WANT more).

oh my gosh... that's a great looking yanmar. Like love at first site! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif OK, i'll stay away..

Question for you, how did you de-grease? I'm thinking about doing it to my 169d but also worry about "loosening" up components which the grease film might be holding together. Is that bunk, or true??? Thanks, congrats on the new tractor, alvanko, Enjoy!

I pulled the hood off, the radiator out and sprayed it with "Gunk". Hozed it off with water and then sprayed it with bleach wite (tire cleaner) and hozed it off. Blow dry with air hoze . Then towel dry and wax. Reassemble. I don't know about stuff (grease film) holding it together . I figure if it pops up while cleaning it , it needed fixed.
I'm almost "giddy" that I found this one , since it was so clean.

That is a nice unit. It looks showroom new compared to mine. I bet it still has that "new tractor smell" (If there is such a thing) /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

I have a YM186D that looks just like the one you purchased. I am looking for a front loader for mine and was wondering if you had any luck finding a vendor that makes one. I have had my tractor for 10 years. It is a great little machine.
