03 00036.04 Motion Control Dial Position Error (exceeded sensor range limit) Motion control dial will be limited to Minimum.

While talking with Yanmar about my Regen issue, I mentioned that the tractor is randomly throwing the code and it happens more when I first start the tractor. Tech said it could be a bad motion dial. I have to turn the tractor off to clear the code otherwise my display only shows the error code. Once the code is reset, the Motion Control Dial works fine until it throws the code again,

2 years ago Yanmar replaced the Engine Speed Travel Switch.

The tractor is supposed to go back to the dealer for the regen issue, I'll have them take a look at the dial.

Yanmar Tech and I found the error code issue. It’s a bad motion dial, the small dial that has the turtle and rabbit.

Yanmar is going to send me a new dial under warranty

Yanmar sent me part of the service manual to diagnose the issue.

For those of you with a YTs, you can check the status of all your switch and dials.

By pressing the DISP button while turning the ignition key to On, the display will go into Checker mode and you can test each switch and dial.
