Rob, The Mod's are over the top, I mean really over the top. Based on the smile on Loretta's face she's a happy camper. You might want to consider TWO cupholders because Loretta will be spending twice as much time in the seat.

BTW, refresh my memory. Which handle operates the 'Calliope' music?  :D

LOL...thanks Don.
It was a good (near) ending to the story indeed.
Now all I have to do finish the list of mods is to install that cup holder when it arrives. I told you my buddy Ken sent it, but it hasn't gotten here yet. I'm pretty sure he only sent one. I am thinking of adding a couple more things but will leave the list alone until I know for sure.

Here's the list now:
DONE-Add a Filter Minder gauge for the air filter.
DONE-Reposition grapple on the bucket so it will shut better & also move it forward to the tooth bar tips.
DONE-Replace all the Chinese hydraulic valves with a new 4 spool Prince SV.
DONE-Add 2 new rear remotes (replacing one that doesn't work)
DONE-Add FEL stabilizers from the uprights to the rear end.
DONE-Add tool box(es) (including the ones Larry gave me a couple years ago).
DONE-Fill tires
DONE-Add Fire Extinguisher
DONE-Add Top and Tilt with 2 hydraulic side links and DPOCV's on all cylinders.
ON HOLD-Add Cup Holder (Waiting for it to arrive)

Yeah i think you have a happy wife there Rob and you know that always makes life easier.:D

Just a question all of the connections on the valve and the cylinders are reusable, if so that is nice.

Hi Shane,
Yes, all the hose fittings going to the valve and cylinders are re-usable hose ends.
If I ever blow a hose or tear it, I can repair it in the shop at home. I bought some spare hose for this project for that purpose. I also bought some spare hose ends to change over the old hoses on the Kama where there is some wear and tear. But mostly, I bought the stuff for ease of doing it myself and doing it right away in case of a mishap.

Those fittings are something i would be interested in. You will have to keep us update on the quality of the fittings over the long hall.

Rob, I think I have read all your tractor mod threads and am amazed at your creativity and ability to bring that to fruition. Your craftsmanship and attention to detail is second to none. A lot of your modifications are beyond my capabilities, but your last one, the air filter is just plain SCARY to me, in my eyes, the savings don't match up to the potential damage.

I have to agree with you about that.
That's in another thread about my Kama tractor and I'm reconsidering it.
I did get some good information pointing me in the right direction though.
thanks for pointing it out...

Got back up to 3R and checked the mail box.
Ken sent me the very nice Kubota cup holder like he promised.
So this morning I decided to get Loretta out there to see where she wanted it mounted... Bad idea! I was thinking of cutting a hole in her fender or somewhere but no, she wanted it next to her seat on the left side because she is a lefty. OK swell, so now I had to make a bracket for it too.

I found some .040" thick aluminum sheet that used to hold the Mate for our solar system.
It's been replaced with a Trimetric which indicates all the functions of how the solar system is doing. So the aluminum was a scrap piece now. I needed to cut a 3-1/2" hole tapering down to a 1" hole at the other end. I used a 1" hole saw for the small diameter and set my boring head with a pointed cutter to cut the larger diameter. Below are some photos of the Kubota cup holder and the metal bracket being started.

It just so happens that on the left inside fender there is an existing mount.
It is shown in the manual to be for a tool box or something. Anyway, we didn't get the one that slides on that mount, so I made her cup holder bracket so that IT slides onto that mount.
After cutting out and connecting the 2 circles, I bent it around to fit those slideways. Then I spray painted it and popped in the new cup holder. Now she can slide the entire mount off if she wants to. Anyway, it's done and installed.
Here are a couple photos of it finished.

Well, that completes the entire list of Mods I initially set out to do for her.
I might end up adding a few more things like a pistol holster or something like that later. If I do, I'll use this thread to show them.
Thanks for looking!
Rob-
